Not a big deal

A series of low pressure systems are going to be around the area this week, but at this time, it looks that we will see just some light snow and snow shower activity Monday late afternoon through Tuesday light snowfall accumulation is possible from Monday afternoon through Wednesday. There could be low end moderate snowfall on the Cape and Islands, this should be manageable as there will be no real steady accumulating snowfall. This probably will not even reach advisory level snow.

There is still a small amount of disagreement among weather models, but all of them keep the big Monday storm well south and east of the region, this will be a very strong storm and will probably keep any other area of low pressure from becoming large enough for any meaningful snowfall. There is still a chance of a bigger impact, it is just less of a chance of it doing so. You generally do not have two large storms in the same proximity to each other.Colder temperatures move in for the up coming weekend..

We will have to continue and watch what happens especially since the models trended further west with the last storm(Friday from being well out to sea, to giving us a few inches and then within 24 to 36 hours the real picture started to show up. This is a complicated set up and it lasts through the week. Much can change and I am afraid that we truly will not know till about 24 to 36 hours out what happens with the first storm, which will impact what happens to the second system and possibly the third which on most models are no longer around .

Tonight. Clear to partly cloudy ,and cooler, lows in the low to mid 20s

Friday night. Partly to mostly cloudy chance of snow showers. Lows in the 10s.

Again anything pass Sunday is not set in stone. It could very well change.
