Severe weather today, dry weather follows.

Mother nature will be moving her furniture today. Severe thunderstorms have popped up all ready and will continue to move from west to east as a cold front moves on through the area. Today will be a warm and humid day. The thunderstorms could have consistent cloud to ground lightning, large hail and damaging winds.  An isolated tornado can not be ruled out.  An area of high pressure will take control of the region Wednesday and thursday. The area of high pressure will then move northeast as well as an approaching area of low pressure will  allow for a cooler wind direction from the north and east. Highs will be stuck in the 60s to low 70s. An area of low pressure will be moving southeast of the region this coming weekend. This could give the region cool temperatures and periods of rain sunday into monday depending on its exact track.
