Stated in the last blog, I stated that there was several factors that could lead to an over all warmer eastern third of the USA (east of the mississippi river).I also said the northeast USA will likly see seasonal temperatures. Well this week we will see those seasonal temperatures as well as Mostly sunny skies through out the week. There could be a few clouds in southern locations a few times as a series of weak low pressure systems travel way to the south of the region. Highs will be in the mid 20s to low 30s. Even though it will be dry, The nights will be cold and dry with lows in the 10s. The mix of dry and temps in the 10s will make for great snow making on the mountains this week. A storm system looks to take aim at the region for the first weekend of the new year. Its to far out to get into details but right now looks like a mix batch of rain and snow. Will keep you updated.
