week of July 10th

This summer has proven to be a gem for us here in New England, Temperatures just right for the beach but not brutal. A good mix of sunny days and days with showers and thunderstorms.  This week, will be rather on the unsettled side of things. An area of high pressure to the north and the Bermuda high pressure to the southeast will allow humidity and unstable air to filter into the region to start out the week, highs will be in the 80s with showers and thunderstorms likely as a cold front moves in from the north. An area of low pressure will move in from the west inbetween these two high pressures breaking apart as it does. A cold front will move very slowly across our area this week continuing the chances of showers and storms through the end of the week. The second half of the week will be cooler.
