Winter Over??

NO!!

Winter is not over, this winter has not been a normal winter for say but have to say the winter forecast has gone somewhat to plan. Snowfall is slightly below normal. Snowfall was predicted to be around normal and above normal North.

We have had abnormal temperatures this past week and many in the country gardeners are going to run into trouble. Many plants are blooming way to early with risk of cold shots still persistent like later this week could kill or hinder crops , flowering plants.

We had 3 days of record breaking heat in February. We have had our first ever recorded Tornado in February touchdown in Conway Massachusetts.  Seriously do not let people say it is just a pattern and is just an abnormally. It has now happened 2 winters in a row that we have had severe weather in winter.

Now to this weeks weather.

If you like winter weather your in luck but first them spring birds will be chirping for the first half of the week as an area of high pressure slides to the south of the region and will send warmer air back into the region for Monday with highs in the 50s and 60s again well above normal for this time of year. An area of low pressure will be traveling into the ohio river valley and up into the great lakes sending periods of showers to the area from Tuesday night through Wednesday night with the best chance of rain showers being Tuesday night along the warm front and Wednesday night ahead of the cold front.  Cold air will take its time Thursday to filter in  but highs will be in the 40s. Thursday night temperatures will drop into the 10s to low 20s.  Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to mid-30s with a chance of a clipper system sending some snow Friday night into Saturday. This could be the start of a more winter friendly pattern.
