Oh the Hype

Well, if you have been listening to the news, you would think there would a major Storm off the east coast going to hit us with strong winds and heavy rain.  We have a storm, named Hermine which will make its way slowly north and towards the areas within the next 48 hours before it slowly moves on back out to sea.  The number one issue with this system will be the rough seas, Expect dangerous rip currents and large waves through the week off of New England and the Mid Atlantic.   Expect some windy conditions to form across the area but only a chance of showers Labor Day and Tuesday. There will be a better chance and likely hood around the Cape and Islands. Winds will be stronger the further east and south. Temperatures will be in the 60s Labor day and low to mid 70s Tuesday. Hermine will continue to drain itself as it head east and northeast. After Tuesday a warming trend with increasing humidity through Friday. .  We have a chance of seeing a few more 90 degree days with the best chance being Friday but there is a chance on Thursday and possibly Saturday. A cold front looks to move through the region sometime next weekend allowing cooler temperatures to follow behind. Timing of this front is uncertain at this time.

Monday night. chance of showers, Northeast wind, lows in the upper 50s to low 60s

Tuesday. chance of showers, Partly sunny, highs in the low to mid 70s.  Northeast to East wind.

Tuesday night. Clearing,  lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday and Wednesday night Mostly sunny, highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Thursday and Thursday night. partly to mostly sunny, Highs in the mid to upper 80s, lows in the 60s.

Friday and Friday night.  Mostly sunny, Warm and Humid. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.  Lows in the low to mid 60s.

Saturday.  Sunny Highs in low to mid  80s,

Saturday night. Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s to low 60s

Sunday. Mostly sunny highs in the 70s.

Sunday night and Monday. Clear,  Highs in the mid to upper 70s, lows in the 50s.
