tricky Forecast

During the last post, I stated that weather models were all over the place, they have since came into general agreement, Now it is how much precipitation makes it in before the 850mb 0c line makes it. This will determine how much snow we have in the area. I believe it will be a light snowfall in the terms of 3 inches being possible. Highest amounts the further north you go. This will not be the important part of this system, I believe many inland locations including many in the Merrimack Valley will see a good period of freezing rain. Snow will likely change right over to freezing rain after 3am, then most will remain on the cooler side with highs will range around the freezing point (32 degrees) which will allow for periods of rain and freezing rain through out the day.  All should change to plain rain by Wednesday evening. Wednesday we will see the warmer side as temperatures reach the 50s. Periods of rain will end in the late afternoon.  Then the mix of a Ridge in the west and a trough in the east, we will see generally sunny skies with highs in the 30s for the weekend.

Lots can change but the first few weeks of March could be interesting and exciting in the weather department.
