New Idea…. rain tuesday night, storm sunday?

So this is going to be new to the Merrimack valley weather page.  If there could be a east coast storm. I will start posting maps as follows

5 days out + Map of what models are showing ( showing this with this post)

4 + days out   Map of what models are showing and showing a forecast track  precaution maps are possible

3 +days out.  map of what models are showing, Precaution map/watches. What type of precipitation.  snow map depending on confidence level

2+ forecast track, precatuion maps, road conditions, what type of precip, first snow maps and others.

within 2 days. forecast track, road conditions, type of precipitation and snow maps.

Map below shows, several weather models tracks for the storm for the 21st to 22nd. As you can see from the map. Most models are in agreement on track until about north caralina. Then it goes kind of a split. So alot is uncertain at this time.  Of streangth, track, type of precip but looks possible  at this time that some  snow could  fall some where.

Outlook for Merrimack Valley

An area of low pressure will be approaching the area. Clouds will be on the increase tonight with lows in the low to mid 20s.  tuesday unlike previously thought will be mostly cloudy as the storm comes in a bit quicker than anticipated. with areas of freezing drizzle and drizzle being possible through out the day. Highs will be in the upper 30s to low 40s. periods of rain will persist tuesday night but mainly around midnight is when the heaviest rain looks to form some snow might mix in extreme northwest sections. The chance of rain showers will persist through wednesday.   Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a continued slighter  chance of rain and snow showers with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Friday through saturday looks to be the break with mostly sunny skies, but cooler  with highs in the mid to upper 30s and lows in the low to mid 20s. A storm system that was stated above could effect the regions weather sunday/ sunday night and monday. Current info about this system go above.

Tuesday. chance of drizzle and freezing drizzle,becoming cloudy, highs in the mid to upper 30s but upper 30s to low 40s southeast

tuesday night. periods of rain, periods of rain with a chance of snow extreme northwest sections, lows in the 30s

wednesday. mostly cloudy, highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s, chance of showers

wednesday night. cloudy chance of a rain and snow shower. lows in the upper 20s to low 30s

thursday. partly sunny, chance of rain and snow showers, highs in the mid to upper 30s.

thursday night through saturday. partly to mostly sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 30s but low to mid 30s northwest sections, lows in the 20s

saturday night. increasing clouds, chance of snow late  lows in the low to mid 20s,

sunday. chance of rain and snow, cloudy with highs in the 30s

sunday night. chance of snow lows in the mid to upper 20s.
