spring? yes. What people think about spring not for a while.

Everyone thinks of spring in the since that it gets nice out in the 50s to 70s with sunshine and a few showers there and there for plants. What a fantasy. The next 5 days are a perfect example on what to expect till late april or early may.

Today will be the last sunny day for a while. Temperatures will rise into the upper 30s to low 40s, tonight clouds will be on the increase ahead of a cold front. This will not lead to an artic out break or that cold of weather. It will actually bring near normal temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s south and mid to upper 40s northwest.  The cold front will be accompanied by rain showers friday and friday night. Saturday morning will be cloudy with areas of drizzle as the cold front stalls off our coast. The placement of this front is very important for saturday nights through sunday. As an area of low pressure rides up the front. Some models show 2-4 inches of rain for parts of eastern massachusetts. Rain will likly develop saturday mid to late afternoon. Rain will continue through sunday morning . The chance of showers will continue through monday morning. Improvements are likly for the beginning to mid week but another storm looks to take aim in the region in the long range around the 5 to 7 of april.
