winter holds for a few though dry.

As the front moved through this morning. portions of southern new england saw their first measurable snowfall mainly south of the pike since most of the precipitation moved out of northern areas of southern new england. highs ranged in the upper 30s across most areas besides for the coastline.

Tonight and wednesday will be mainly clear with lows in the upper 10s to lower 20s with a northwest wind. The cold will not last long though as the wind shifts to a southwesterly flow drawing warmer air into the region. Highs wednesday will be in the upper 30s and then on thursday expect highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s and then friday and saturday highs will be in the upper 50s to near 60s. sunday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s. Lows through out this period will be in the lower 30s.

A system will be moving into the region for the first half of next week. Be watching this. a few different scenerio’s though none show snow.
