As an area of high pressure keep the storm well to the south of the region. This will keep the Cold locked in. The area of high pressure will push the jet stream down. the storm will also shoot out to sea not giving it enought time to gain enought energy to give any major effects to the southeast, but there could be areas of showers. Lake effect snow and rain showers could effect portions of the great lakes. Still will watch this system as there is a good deal of time till the time period that this storm could effect us.
