Summer weather returns for 2 days before chilly air moves back in.

An area of high pressure will be moving to the southeast of us today allowing for a southwest flow to pump the warm humid air from the ohio river valley up into the northeast . Expect mostly cloudy skies today with high temperatures reaching the low to middle 80s.   Wedensday will feature increasing humidity with sunny skies with high temperatures in the low 90s.  thursday high temperatures will be in the upper 80s though some could see another 90 degree day depending on when the cold front moves through. This front will give the region a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong to severe(keep you updated)  Following the front, much cooler air will filter into the region with highs struggling to reach the 70 degree mark with lows in the low to mid 40s.

There are 11 more days till the first day of fall. So enjoy the summer weather if you can.
