Nice week. Old man winter waking up?

An area of low pressure currently moving up the coast and an area of energy over the great lakes will help develop weak low-pressure development off of southern new England creating periods of rain for Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday Night. Due to the king tides, look for some coastal flooding through Tuesday’s high tide cycle and maybe Wednesday. Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s for Tuesday with lows in the low to mid-40s Tuesday night. Wednesday through Saturday Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-50s to mid-60s and lows in the 30s as an area of high pressure takes control.

A storm is expected to give portions of the Northern plains a decent snowstorm Friday into Saturday of this week, This storm moves up into Canada, dragging a cold front along with it. This cold front and an area of low pressure out at sea could interact and allow formation of an area of low pressure to the north of the region. This low looks like it could get trapped and spin rain and snow showers in the area from Sunday through Tuesday of next week.  This could be a start of a more active weather pattern and possibly more normal in terms of temperatures.
