How two days of weather models lead up to a rain filled week.

The weather models are starting to agree and its complicated to understand. First lets get to what’s effecting us this week.  There is a flood watch in an effect for all but Boston.

An area of low pressure will be gliding along a cold front that stalls off the coast Ahead of the cold front expect Drizzle/ light rain and clouds (today)  Wednesday and Wednesday night is looking like a wash out with heavy rain as an area of low pressure glides along the cold front which may pull back over areas of southeast mass.     Any where from 1-3 inches with isolated higher amounts of rain. .The high temperature for Wednesday will happen predawn hours. The steady rain will stop sometime late Wednesday night. The unsettled weather will continue through the rest of the week with periods of rain/ showers thursday and friday with cool temperatures in the 50s.

There is still a lot to look.  Many of the models send this tropical storm all over the place with different strengths.  It is to early to pin point exactly when we could feel the effects of this storm. I am concerned with the relatively warm ocean temperatures ( fuel for storms) and the forecast placement of the cold front mentioned above. If this storm does effect the area, It will be the later part of the weekend into early next week. More on this as it gets closer.

Wednesday. Periods of heavy rain. chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures in the mid to upper 60s dropping into the 50s by mid afternoon. Breezy north to northeast wind.

Wednesday night. Periods of heavy rain, Breezy, lows in the mid to upper 40s

Thursday. Cloudy, Areas of drizzle, chance of showers, Highs in the mid to upper 50s

Thursday night. cloudy areas of drizzle , chance of rain late. Lows in the low to mid 40s but mid to upper 40s southeast locations.

Friday. chance of rain in the morning then cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 50s

Friday night. Mostly cloudy, Lows in the mid to upper 40s. chance of showers

Saturday through monday  watching tropical storm Joaquin,  A lot of uncertainty.
