Heat miser now has control

Today will likely be the coolest day until next week possibly. An area of high pressure will be taking control of the region creating a south to southwest wind which will bring warmer temperatures into the region. There does not seem to be any major  rain events  in the forecast, even though we had all that snow this past winter, it did very little to keep the top soil from getting bone dry Which is why the national weather service has issued red flag warnings northwest areas.

Highs this week will range from the mid 70s to mid 80s through saturday.  Sunday and the beginning of the following week is some what in the air. We could see a cold front move in from the north and bring a chance of showers with cooler temps (60s and 70s) or we could see some have their first heat wave with sunday through tuesday being in the 80s and low 90s before the front charges in with showers and thunderstorms tuesday afternoon.
