Road conditions
Worse traveling 2pm-3am
orange level 4 road condtions. heavy delays, snow covered roads. visibilites less than 1/2 at times
yellow level 3/4 road conditions. moderate/ heavy delays. secondary and main roads snow covered visibilites less than 1 mile at times.
blue. level 2 road conditions. some slush and or ice on road ways mainly wet, light delays.
green.level 1, mainly wet, windy with minor delays.

In the green area it will mainly be rain. with some locations in interior areas seeing up to 2 inches at the tail end
boston. boarder of green and red areas.
in the red area. 2-4 inches of snow as it will start as rain and changes to a mix of rain, snow and sleet
In the blue area. rain goving over to snow. 4-8 inches of snow
In the purple area 8 to 12 inches of snow with locally higher amounts possible (mainly higher terrain)
Yellow circled area. There are still alot of possibilites in this region depending on when the switch happens. So the color regions they are in. add or subtract a few inches of those ranges.
Merrimack valley
northern and western areas purple shade
eastern and southern areas in the blue.
extreme southeast in red.
southern areas inclosed in yellow area.
Conditions
Snow will be heaviest between 3pm to 11pm
heavy wet snow
temperatures dropping through the day. from mid and upper 30s to upper 20s
1-2 inches of snow per hour is possible.
winds of 15-25mph with gusts up to 30 mph are possible east of i84 with winds of 25 to 35mph on the south shore, cape and islands. Winds will be from the northeast to north direction.
snow ends from west to east after midnight
Seperate system could give the area some snow showers later thanksgiving day. Highs do not go abover 35 degrees across the merrimack valley.
