As we experiance dry and cold the southeast US and parts of the gulf states will see one of their bigger winter storms in recent memory. They will not be just dealing with snow but also ice and for their standards alot.
Around here the artic front has moved through and the cold temperatures will continue to poor into the region. This will not last as long as previous artic out breaks but will feel much different than today when temperatures rised into the upper 30s to low 40s
Breezy conditions will continue through this evening temperatures will drop into the single didits to near zero with wind chills reaching -10 north and west. tuesday will be cold with temperatures in the middle 10s lows tuesday night will be around zero to 5 above.
a warm up will happen in the second half of the week. as temperatures over the weekend being the in the low 30s south and upper 20s north. There is a chance of a winter weather event for sunday .
