some rain and snow showers Saturday then dry and cool

Parts of the northern sections can see up to 2 inches of snow saturday. while the rest see a mix of rain and snow showers changing to plain rain showers in the south and eastern sections by noontime.

Tonight. becoming cloudy chance of snow showers late, lows in the low 30s
Saturday mostly cloudy rain and snow showers, changing to all rain showers south and east. highs in the upper 30s 0-2 inches of snow northern sections.
Saturday night. mostly cloudy, lows in the middle 20s
Sunday. partly to mostly cloudy highs in the low to mid 30s, chance of flurries
Sunday night. partly to mostly cloudy lows in the low 30s
Monday and Monday night. partly to mostly cloudy highs in the low 30s, mid 30s south and east, lows in the low 10s , upper single digits north and west
Tuesday through Thursday night. partly to mostly cloudy highs in the upper 10s though mid 10s north and west. lows near zero though 5-10 degrees south and east.
Friday. mostly sunny highs in the low 20s upper 10s north and west

Still need to watch a possible light snow event for the middle part of next week though the Polar vortex will push the jet stream south which will keep this storm out to sea. Though the placement of the Polar Vortex is very important if the polar vortex sets up a tad further west than anticipated at the moment this storm could effect us ,this is unlikely as of right now. Will keep you updated.

Even though no big winter storms are in sight does not mean the ski areas will struggle look by the end of this upcoming week many areas will start making snow to get good snow conditions back. Some locations mainly in northern Vermont have gotten better conditions
