Cold with some snow, then a warm up. sadly just before christmas

A clipper system will dig down and travel to the south and east of cape cod possibly tracking over cape cod while. We have have enough cold air to keep almost all but the cape and islands as snow through out the event. A general 1-3 inches of snow will fall every where but the nrotheast quarter of massachusetts coastal New hampshire up into maine. where 3-6 inches of snow will probably fall. you could see much higher or lower amounts depending on how fast this system gains streangth. This system has alot of cold to work with so it will be a fluffy snow so we will not need that much water to build accumulations. The afternoon and evening commutes could be tricky expecially north and west of boston. 495 and 128 areas. We could see some thundersnow do to the rapid streangthening of the storm. this storm could give some areas 3 inches and a half mile north or south they could have 8 or 10 inches of snow. It all depends on the banding of the heivier snow. After this system the cold will hold
wednesday highs will be in the upper 20s, and sunny, with lows in the upper 10s, thursday will be sunny with highs in the lower 30s with lows in the low 30s thursday night with a chance of rain and snow showers
Friday through sunday. highs will bei nthe lower 40s and lows will be in the lower 30s with a chance of showers with the best chance of showers being saturday night. it will start to cool down monday with highs in the middle 30s. I am hopeful that anyone that has more than 4 inches of snow will have a white christmas.
