As a front moves through today and pushes out of the area tonight we will see times of showers and thunderstorms as an upper level trough will remain over us and will create unsettled weather ( light rain and drizzle )and cooler temps tuesday through wednesday morning highs will be in the 60s and low to middle 70s. As the trough moves out of the area we will have a wind shift as an area of high pressure will take control and we will see high temps in the 80s thursday on through the weekend along with humidity and mostly sunny skies.

the showers and storms of this morning are exciting the coastline, cape and islands .
An other line of showers and thunderstorms some of which are strong to severe. are moving across western mass and will probably reach the coast early this evening or late afternoon.
