Today will feature mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 30s
Tonight will be very cold with lows in the single digits. with clear skies
monday will be very cold with highs not getting out of the mid to upper 20s monday night will not be as cold as tonight but will be down in the upper single digits to low 10s
This is where it gets interesting.
Tuesday there will be increasing clouds with highs in the upper 20s north and west to low to mid 30s southeast. There are two major storm track possibilities with several others. The two storm tracks to watch for are the two blue lines that on the top left. There will be a very powerful storm off of our coast with hurricane force winds and a lot of precipitation The amount of snow and wind will greatly depend on the track. The closer track would give new england a historic march snow storm with 1 to 3 feet across eastern mass, coastal NH and eastern maine. It would be a powerful Blizzard… I am currently not bought on that solution. I am more bought on the second track. Which will glaze parts of southeast mass with light to moderate snowfall with some wind on the cape and islands. The reason is do to Model trends and upper level wind patterns.
