a small storm ahead of a warm up

a small storm ahead of a warm up

Today will feature sunny skies with a light breeze. Highs will be in the upper 20s
Tonight there will be increasing clouds ahead of our next system. which looks to fall generally 4-8 inches across the area as the area of low pressure streangthens. Snow will generally fall from about 10am to 6pm. This will be boarderline winter storm headlines and winter weather advisories. This is not a nor-easter as the wind will be coming from the southeast this is why areas south and east of boston will only see about an inch or two. Expect 4-6 inches of snow in the 4-8 area but 8 inches can not be ruled out expecially across interior northeast massachusetts up into southeast New hampshire up into southeast Maine.
After this system a warm up will affect the region, this will not be a sunny transition. It will remain cloudy with chance of showers through out the end of the week. mainly friday. highs will be in the low to mid 40s north and west and upper 40s southeast, in General.
This warm up looks short lived as cold air looks to return to finish off Febuary next week.
