a slight warm up before a Ice sculpture delight.

As the light rain and snow that effected the region this afternoon is moving out a more westerly wind has formed which will keep lows in the lower 20s  instead of the 10s we have been dealing with. This southwest to west winds will continue through the weekend, giving a slight rise in temperatures as high temperatures will rise up into the middle to upper 30s for friday and the weekend ahead of a storm system that effects the region from sunday night through the first half of monday This storm looks more wet than wintry. After this storm pulles out A very cold but dry pattern looks to be shaping up.

tonight. Clearing lows in the lower 20s

friday. mostly sunny highs in the middle 30s

friday night. mainly clear, lows in the lower 20s

saturday partly sunny warmer highs in the upper 30s

saturday night. partly cloudy lows in the upper 20s

sunday. increasing clouds. highs in the upper 30s

sunday night. Rain developing. changing to freezing rain and sleet. lows in the middle 20s

monday. freezing rain and sleet ending . Highs in the lower 30s

monday night. clear, lows in the lower 10s

tuesday through thursday. Mostly to partly sunny. COLD! bundle up. Highs in the upper 10s to lower 20s. Lows in the single digits. though sub zero temperatures new years night.  This cold will allow the ice sculptures to stand for a bit.
